Just an FYI, Google + just gave me the option to snatch up my "dedicated" URL. Not many people use Google + (compared to Facebook, anyway), but if you have a Gmail account, or ANY kind of Google account (Adwords, Gmail, Google Drive, etc) now would be the time to reserve your URL based on your name or company name. It's free and you may still be able to get something like:
https://plus.google.com/+JanetSmith (this is not me).
Instead of something with a bunch of numbers after your name because your name was already taken.
