Has anyone heard of an accounting firm outsourcing estate planning to an attorney and then the accountant basically prepares the trust returns each year? How could I find an attorney that would offer those services and terms.
I was engaged by an estate planning attorney to just prepare the tax returns. I was referred to him by a mutual friend. I think your best bet is to network with other professionals and develop the contacts. In my situation, i billed my tax prep fee directly to the trustee. I have been approached by other attorney's but they want a piece of the action, anywhere from 10 to 33% of the billing!
