TaxProfessionals.com Does anyone care?

I just received an email from NATP. Apparently they created this website for potential clients to use when searching for a tax professional. And, as a member, we get a free "Silver Level Membership". Of course, we can upgrade our listing for an additional fee for a bunch of cool features.

But, do we need this? Is the public going to even know about it and use it? Won't they just keep using Google? I don't see the benefit for us.

I watched, or is that 'read' since they had the large text display as the audio/video ran. I was expecting them to offer a set of kitchen knives if I signed up before midnight. Could they be no different than the continual spam I get from those claiming to be "your local Google ad provider"?

I guess it can't hurt, if you avoid the upgrading and this doesn't trigger more telemarketers.

I agree. A couple of weeks ago, I attended a webinar regarding this company and was not impressed.
