I have a new computer. Lacerte won't print to pdf properly. The font looks horrible and the text goes off the page.
I want to generate and email organizers.

I called today and they went through a repair pdf process. I've dealt with Lacerte_Component_Repair_Tool.exe and LacertePDF_Tool.exe. Now the offices are closed. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can you use a third party PDF printer instead of whatever Lacerte has built-in?

I use this, which shows up on my available printers list just as if it were a physical printer. It seems to work well with any application I've printed from.

(Edit) I notice the recent reviews on this application have gotten bad. I have a very old version which doesn't contain any adware. Best to do more research, but a printer object like that may work for you.

I still use Bullzip. It's pretty decent for a freebie.

cutePDF writer has worked well for me for years. You install and select it just like any other printer.

Thanks everyone. Another one half hour on the phone with Lacerte lead to resolution. The Lacerte printer had not loaded. We had to do that first, and then we had to run one of the PDF correction utilities. I'm posting this in case it is ever helpful for anyone else.

I'd had the same issue before, but have never bothered with it. Just flipped to a 3rd party pdf printer as others have suggested.
