Very interested to see who has had success with the following: value billing for bookkeeping, payroll/sales tax, tax planning, and tax filing. I've seen others talk about this model and how it allows for a nice monthly retainer of $500-$2,500 with only 10-30 clients. The justification being that a full time bookkeeper would be more expensive than the monthly bill mentioned above.

If you are having success with this model, would love to hear the pros and cons.

I do it. My contracts range from $425-5k/mo at the moment, though I have it on my agenda to revamp, simplify, and increase profitability.

It can be EXTREMELY profitable. I am not going to post details on a public page, but will if this is moved to PFZ or if you wish to DM me.
