I formed an LLC for my practice in PA last fall and am doing under 30k in billings this year. Any other Pennsylvania CPA's know a way around filing the PA Certificate of Annual Registration and paying it's $610 fee?

Copied from the PA website:

Any domestic or foreign restricted professional company in existence on December 31 of any year is required to file a Certificate of Annual Registration [DSCB:15-8221/8998)

It won't make you feel any better but CA's LLC filing fee is $800.

You should check in the filing instructions to see if there is a gross income exemption or sliding scale, but I doubt you will have much luck. Sorry I don't have better advice.

Who do you thank for that $610 fee - payable every year - your Governor?
Write Governor Tom and complain, here in Virginia the annual fee is $50.
