Hi,
I've decided to open my own CPA firm. I know I need to get
1) Business liability (I guess I can skip this is I'm operating remotely)
2) Professional E&O
3) Cybersecurity

Am I missing any other? Any recommendation for a good broker or insurance company?
Anything that I should be aware of or advise or recommendation?
Thank you!

I only trust two providers for my insurance:

Smith

&

Wesson

8-)

Kidding...I've used CAMICO and they seem to be alright. However, I've also never had to file a claim :::knock on wood::: so I don't know how that end of it works.

I've had Camico forever. They specialize in insurance for tax and accounting firms. They have good content on risk management and a library of forms and templates for engagement letters. I have used them twice when a lawyer subpoenaed me for client records and they jumped on the case and resolved it. I recommend them.

Thank you @AlexCPA and @smtcpa for your recommendation. It seems like Camico is a good choice. Thanks again!

Same. E&O and cyber.

If it's just you and you don't have clients coming to visit on your premises, I wouldn't think you need general liability.
