Hi all hope October Tax season is going well. Filing ERC refund claims can be a lucrative supplement to our revenue this year. With the 3 year statute for 2nd qtr 2020 ending this July 31st does anyone have any insight on how to find businesses outside our own clientel in need of an ERC specialist or would this seem to be too tough a task? Thank you in advance.

At this point most people have gotten a contact or two from a national ERC firm. I know I have been on the receiving end of phone calls, letters, and maybe a LinkedIn contact.

The simple method would be to do a bulk mailer to all LLCs in a set of zip codes near you.

Tell your banking contacts. I’ve gotten several that way. Several that didn’t qualify as well.

Most businesses have been targetted, at least from the biz owners I work with. However, they may not have not due to being too good to be true. Some sources are to target non profits, as they don't seem to have been many contacts by the promoters/ ertc shops, or reach out to bookkeeper in your network, as I've gotten multiple clients that way.
