docusign and engagement letter

anyone have an insight if having a client sign an engagement letter through docusign is binding?

I don't have direct knowledge of how the courts directly interpret an electronic signature on an EL, but I would expect it to not be a problem.
As long as the signature process can be verified, I think you're good.

I e-signed my E&O insurance policy. Seems like they'd require a different method if it wasn't binding.

Agreed… real estate is done docu sign now.

I believe the ESIGN Act and the UETA protect the validity and enforceability of esignatures, at least for interstate commerce. IIRC most states have laws for esignatures as well.
