Is anyone using Intuit's CPA Select? I am looking for feedback prior to signing up.

Hi Leslie, I used the program this past tax season-- I would say overall its just ok. Not bad if you want to try to add a few clients, but probably not as much business as advertised. I would say that many potential customers do an initial sign up for curiosity or maybe just fishing for an answer or two rather than having someone prepare their entire return. In any event, there was some work involved (returning emails, trying to contact potential customers) and some of that may not result in any actual sale

Referrals that come from someone other than existing clients are usually not good. We literally take no clients who found us online or out of the phone book. They tend to be one-timers and we're more interested in long-term relationships.
