Hi,
Anyone have any experience with this? Client is retired NYC police officer living in NJ. Receives a $60,000 pension due to a job injury. Of the $60,000; $50,000 is non-taxable at the federal level and $10,000 taxable. After reviewing NJ publications not able to determine if his entire disability pension ($60,000) is taxed by NJ. The client is 67 years old. It appears to me the entire amount is taxable by NJ even though a significant portion is not taxed by the Fed. Any help/insight would be appreciated.
