US taxpayer goes to Canada, earns some wages, and pays Canadian social security.

Now when he's 60 he'll get social security form Canada.

Is there a way to transfer over the payroll taxes he paid in Canada to the US
so his US Social security will increase?

Does this site help?

Your client may have to do some legwork with SSA and CA to transfer these benefits if at all possible. The necessary upfront paperwork wasn't done but I don't see how that is the tax preparer's responsibility.
