Hello, I have a client who has investments in two Brazilian funds Mint Batalha and Mint Educacao.
How would I find out if they are subject of PFIC reporting or not?

Any advise would be highly appreciated.

You could call the funds to see if they have done the test. If not, pull their financials and do the test yourself? But, if these are Brazilian mutual funds odds are they're PFICs.
