My S corp clients is using his S Corp for side gigs. He has a regular job with W-2. His S corp income are sporadic. After two years working with them, they finally took my advice of notifying me whenever they receive income.

At the beginning of this year, he received $15K from a gig. Is he required to cut himself a paycheck with reasonable wages?

Can he wait till the end of first quarter or even the end of the year?

As long as it's in the same year, you can do what you like...but once you start filing, you need to file quarterly forms.
