We are preparing a tax return for a client making a 336(e) election. It is my understanding that we file Form 8883, which is normally used when making a 338(h)(10) election.
Are we supposed to file Form 8023 as well?
It seems there is a requirement to attach a statement about the 336(e) election. However, I'm not sure about the 8023....
