Incorrect Form 2553 Submission

New client, filled out and faxed a 2553 last November with an anticipated election date of 01/01/2022. Just realized that our group failed to put any election date (Part 1E) on the form. Of course, the client hasn't heard anything yet which isn't surprising at this point.
Any advice on how to handle? Re-sign and re-fax corrected form? BTW, we have called the IRS and zero response.
