I have a client that is a US Citizen, he got married in 2020 to a woman overseas. In August of 2021 his wife obtained a green card and moved to the US. Is she eligible for the $1,400 payment since she was married to a US Citizen? Or is she ineligible since she was not present in the US nor did she have a green card at the time the stimulus was issued?
