I e-filed a tax return early this morning. So far it has been more than 4 hours and I still have not received the IRS acknowledgment. I usually receive the acknowledgment within an hour or two. So today is unusually taking long. Is anyone else having the same situation too?

I'm getting them back quickly on entities (trusts and 1120's). 1040s are taking longer. I submitted one yesterday that just posted in the last hour.

Might be massive e-filing due to the mandate today for 2019 & 2020 returns.

I just had a 1040 accepted in less than an hour. Looking back at the one sent yesterday, we claimed some additional rebate recovery.

2021 1041s came back quickly.
2019 1040 took about 6 hours.

Filed a 2020 1040 30 minutes ago and it was just accepted.

Only 5 left from the haul we've e-filed today. Should have been nice to do this post 10/17.

Drake is fine. Federal usually gives confirmation within 60 seconds (Sunday can be spottier). Most states take a day or two. Some states can take up to a week.

The FBARs are the wildcard. Around this time of the year they usually take 2-3 weeks to send confirmation.
