Client has a rental property in FL and he is a NJ resident. Is it better to set up a NJ llc or FL llc to hold the FL rental property?
Thanks.

This is a nuanced question that needs to weigh both tax and legal considerations. No one can tell you point blank, FL or NJ based on just your question.

If you consider yourself a tax advisor, you should research the tax ramifications of each choice, as it relates to your client. If there is no difference, then the legal and administrative impact becomes paramount.
