Looking for clarification on the correct way to show sale of partnership interest on 1065 & k-1.

Partnership consists of 2 partners, A & B. Partner A bought out Partner B outside of the partnership. The partnership generates some revenue, but the capital accounts are primarily made up of building & land interest. No receivables or inventory.

Is 1065 filed as short year Jan 1 to Dec 16 date if buyout?

Are K-1 items below correct:
Item J Profit, Loss & Capital account percentage- Buying partner after buyout 100%. Selling partner before buy out 50%.

Item k Share of Liabilities - balances are before the buyout for selling & buying partner. This agrees with k-1 instructions, but the basis schedule are not showing the transfer of the liability from selling to buying partner. Can I record as k-1 other decrease/increase to adjust?

Item L Capital accounts are after buyout for both buying & selling partner.
