I recently updated a client QB data from 2011 to 2017. For this client we provide a monthly P&L report where we condense the subaccounts. The report looks fine on the screen, but when I print it out there is an extra space where the subaccounts have been condensed. The report looks awful.

Is anybody else getting this?

I have reinstalled and updated QB 2017, and am still getting these spaces. I have sent the report to various printers in the office. None of this helps. The report was fine in QB2011. How I love software updates!

According to comments at Intuit community forum, there is no direct fix and no plans for one. Suggested workaround it to export to Excel and then format any way you wish. While this is a pain, the fact that you can refresh an existing worksheet might make it feasible after the onte-time setup.

Thanks for the confirmation.
No plans for a fix. Wow!
