Paypal to QuickBooks

I am trying to get PayPal transactions into QuickBooks. I can download and import an IIF file but it brings in a lot of junk that needs to be deleted - such as pending and authorization transactions. With 100s of transactions, it's taking a lot of time. I've tried the various download options and have talked to PayPal but they can't even understand the question.

Does anyone do this, successfully?

Have you tried importing the file into Excel and then cleaning up the file?

I completely agree with Cathy. I do the same when I have to import something that needs cleaning up. I could not do my work without Excel!
