Client was an accrual basis taxpayer and uses QB. The default accounting method when setup was accrual. They've switched their overall method to the cash method and would like to change the default method to cash.

I know when selecting a Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss you can click on the "Customize Report" button and choose cash method. Is there a way to change the default so it always uses the cash method rather than accrual method?
