I am getting error message 30159, which seems to have a variety of descriptions when I check on the internet. In QB it says I need to contact them - in the Phillipines. Which I prefer not to do. At the top of the box telling me about the error is a phrase that reads "Entitlement is enabled but entitlement unit is deactivated". When I searched for an explanation of this phrase, the response to a similar question from someone was that there is a hidden file in QB that is probably corrupt and it needs to be fixed by Intuit. Has anybody else had experience with this issue and maybe gotten a solution? I need to be able to run a payroll and prepare quarterlies.

Watch out for the Quickbooks phone desk numbers on Google. I tried one once and the foreign call center guy started asking about my Quickbooks services and other information they should have had on file.

Turns out it was a third-party help desk masquerading as an official ProAdvisor support line. Go straight to Intuit at 888-333-3451.
