Just uploaded my desktop Quickbooks to Quickbooks online.

Would anyone know can i export the data back onto my own Quickbooks desktop
in the future in case i want to leave the online version?

Yes, of course you can. They've changed the format of QBO since I last regularly used it, but you do have the option of not only exporting the data, but also making a local backup. You can, then, restore the backup on your desktop. To do this, you would likely need the most recent desktop version, though.

No matter what anyone tells you, you should test this yourself.

Meanwhile, has anyone tried the new feature to "Manage your practice right in QuickBooks Online Accountant"?
