Recently removed the Account Tool Trial Balance which was a decent trial balance tool. It was never avail for accountant to use on their own QBO.


They've replaced it with Prep for Taxes. This now gives a way to export balances mapped to standard tax form line numbers to a csv. That's a big improvement since you couldn't even print a report of those before (still can't print pdf of this)

It's crude in that the csv doesn't allow subgroupings or even subtotal by line numbers.

But the main problem is that Prep for Taxes is not a trial balance app.

Please let Intuit know your reactions to this change, especially if you're in their Pro Advisor program.
