have a partnership return where one of the partners is in florida.

they have until 2/15/19 to file for 2017

can anyone chime in - are we supposed to put a special code somewhere on the return
to alert the IRS that get extra time bc of the fla storm?

Our software had us put in a code on the penalty screen to override the automatic calculation of penalties for Failure to File penalties. But, that was for Partnerships that are based in FL, mostly Jacksonville, which was hit by Irma.

I would look at the revenue ruling that was issued allowing the FL disaster zones to file late, and see how it is worded.
