Ultimately reducing the total number of players in the tax software field.

I'm willing to pay more for better software (particularly more automatic interaction with the client). But if it gets too high the small guys will need to find a new solution.

Interesting. They look to be trying to build a company to battle against Intuit.

I don't see this as good in the long-term for tax professionals, but I imagine it will be a boon for those who buy the consumer products.
